FAQ

Your Questions, Answered

“Ask everything. Healing begins with honest inquiry.”

Do I need to believe in energy healing for it to work?+

No. Scepticism is welcome. Openness is sufficient. Reiki has been studied in conditions where measurable effects were still documented. The body can respond to healing energy independent of concious assent.

Is Born to Blossom a religious practice?+

No. Our healing work is spiritually informed but not religiously bound. The practitioner holds her own Shakta Tantric devotional path, but this is not imposed on clients. We have served clients from Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, and atheist backgrounds with equal respect and care.

How is this different from therapy?+

Conventional therapy works primarily at the mental and emotional level through verbal processing and insight. Our work includes these dimensions but also addresses the energetic, somatic, ancestral, and spiritual layers. We are not a replacement for therapy or psychiatry; we are a complementary modality. Many clients are in therapy simultaneously.

Can sessions be done online?+

Yes. Most modalities are fully effective online — Quantum Belief Reprogramming, NLP, Bach Flower consultations, EFT, Soul Contract Reading, and even Reiki and Humkaara translate powerfully to distance healing. A few modalities — Access Bars, some somatic work, and group constellations — are best in person.

How many sessions will I need?+

It depends on what you are working with. For a specific issue, two to four sessions may bring significant resolution. For deep pattern work, ancestral healing, or the RESTORE journey, eight to twelve sessions is more appropriate. We always begin with an honest assessment and never oversell.

Is this work safe for children?+

Yes. Reiki, Bach Flower Therapy, Access Bars, EFT, and sound healing are beneficial and safe for children of all ages, including infants. We offer specialised children’s sessions adapted to age and developmental stage.

What should I do to prepare for a session?+

Come with an open heart, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to notice. Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before. Bring any questions or intentions. Drink water before and after. You do not need the ‘right words’ — you only need to show up.

What is your cancellation policy?+

We request 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling of individual sessions. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged at 50 percent of the session fee. We understand that life happens and always work with clients empathetically.

Do you offer payment plans?+

Yes. For our RESTORE programme and other multi-session packages, we offer payment in instalments. Please enquire when booking.

I have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. Can I still work with you?+

Yes, in most cases, with the support and collaboration of your treating physician or psychiatrist. We welcome clients who are also receiving mental health care. We will always ask about your existing care team and maintain appropriate safety protocols. We do not diagnose or treat clinical disorders.
